«Ikerlariak», serie of conferences on researchers and Basque culture

With this presentation, the Sancho el Sabio Vital Fundazioa Foundation begins a series of conferences whose aim is to publicise and give visibility to the work of Basque researchers who carry out their work disinterestedly and who contribute to and enrich the study of Basque and Alava culture from other perspectives, and whose research results have been deposited in the Sancho el Sabio Foundation through the donation of archives or personal libraries, or have been published in the Sancho el Sabio Journal. Research work which, in its long process of gestation, has managed to compile extensive sets of data whose publication and dissemination cannot be carried out through the usual channels. Fundación Sancho el Sabio Vital Fundazioa, with the technical means at its disposal, can promote the compilation, conservation and dissemination of these research works, as well as the so-called ‘citizen science’.
